Christo Spies is the founding member and key individual (KI) of Challenger Insurance Brokers & Consultants CC, bringing more than 40 years of experience. He combines deep technical knowledge with decades of valued expertise in the short-term insurance industry.
His expertise spans personal lines and commercial insurance and extends to niche areas including transport, goods in transit, marine, and engineering insurance.
Angelique Willemse
Angie joined Challenger in 2008 as an underwriting and claims clerk. Since then she has advanced to become a registered representative, specialising in personal lines and commercial insurance. She is also actively involved in niche products including transport, goods in transit, marine and engineering.
Her combined experience in underwriting and claims gives her the expertise to support clients at every stage of their policy journey—from quoting and underwriting right through to claims management.

As the newest member of our dynamic team, Marno follows in his father’s footsteps while bringing fresh energy and a modern perspective to the firm.
